Yi-6B-Chat is 01.AI's open-weight, 6-billion-parameter conversational model based on the Yi-6B base checkpoint and released on November 23, 2023. It was aligned exclusively with supervised fine-tuning on a curated instruction dataset of fewer than 10,000 examples, and 01.AI reports bilingual English/Chinese dialogue capability. The released checkpoint is configured for a 4,096-token context window.
