Solar Open 100B is Upstage's open-weight flagship, a Mixture-of-Experts model with 102.65B total parameters and roughly 12B active per token. Its pretraining used 19.7 trillion tokens before subsequent mid-training and reinforcement-learning stages. Released in January 2026 under Upstage's Solar license with a 128K-token context window, it targets reasoning, instruction following, and agentic tasks.
