Reka Flash 3 is Reka AI's 21B open-weight general-purpose reasoning model trained from scratch, released in March 2025 with full model weights available on Hugging Face. It supports chat, coding, instruction following, and function calling, and incorporates a "budget forcing" mechanism via special reasoning tags that allows users to control the depth of the model's thinking process. Reka Flash 3 achieves performance competitive with much larger open models while remaining efficient enough for low-latency deployment.
