Molmo 2 8B is Ai2's open multimodal model from the Molmo 2 family, released in December 2025. Building on the original Molmo, Molmo 2 extends vision-language understanding to video, multi-image, and temporal reasoning tasks including video pointing, object tracking, and multi-frame analysis, with weights and training data openly available.
