Mistral Medium 1.0 was Mistral AI's first enterprise-grade Premier model, introduced on December 11, 2023 as the highest-quality endpoint in the La Plateforme beta. It was an instruction-tuned prototype that supported English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and code; its official model card advertises a rounded 32k-token context. The `mistral-medium-2312` snapshot was retired on June 16, 2025 and replaced by Mistral Medium 3.5.
