MiniMax M3.1 Flash is MiniMax's generally available M3.1-series multimodal coding and agentic model, released on October 19, 2026 through the MiniMax API (pay-as-you-go at $0.15/$0.60 per million input/output tokens), M Plan and MiniMax Code. It accepts text, image and video input with a 1,000,000-token context window. Thinking is always on and cannot be disabled; an effort parameter tunes its depth across low, medium, high, xhigh and max, defaulting to max. It is a separate identifier from the limited MiniMax-M3.1-Flash-Preview that appeared in MiniMax Code on September 27, 2026, and MiniMax describes the stealth Space Bunny model as an early version of it. MiniMax says weights will be released later but has not published them, a license or a parameter count.
