Mercury Coder Small

Mercury Coder Small is Inception Labs' code-specialized diffusion language model and the larger of the two Mercury Coder models released in February 2025. It was exposed by Inception's API as mercury-coder-small and uses a Transformer denoiser to refine multiple tokens in parallel; the technical report documents a native 32,768-token context extendable to 128K, which Inception later enabled on the hosted service.
