Mathstral 7B is Mistral AI's instructed, open-weight model for mathematical and scientific tasks, based on Mistral 7B and produced through its collaboration with Project Numina. Released on July 16, 2024 under Apache-2.0, the 7B-class checkpoint supports 32,768-token sequences; Mistral reports improved MATH results with majority voting or with a strong reward model selecting among 64 candidates.
