Silent Closer is a non-LLM algorithmic baseline in Lech Mazur's STEP Game benchmark, where official result logs identify the participant as `SilentCloser`. The official repository says it remains silent, uses exponentially decayed global move counts to estimate move uniqueness, adjusts a safety threshold according to whether it is leading or trailing, and applies special closing logic when it is within five steps of victory.
