Contrarian is an algorithmic baseline in Lech Mazur’s BAZAAR double-auction benchmark. The official repository describes it as the opposite of Momentum: it bets on mean reversion by quoting against the most recent price change; published game logs use `contrarian` as its non-LLM `model_name`.
