The official repository describes it as a foundational adaptive agent that adjusts its bidding aggressiveness (`sigma`) based on trade outcomes, becoming more aggressive after failing to trade and more conservative after a successful trade; published game logs use `adaptive` as its non-LLM `model_name`.
