GPT-6.1 Terra is OpenAI's October 26, 2026 fast, efficient reasoning model in the GPT-6.1 family, for visual reasoning, computer use and writing at half the standard API price of GPT-6.1 Sol. It accepts text and image inputs and produces text, with none, low, medium (default), high, xhigh and max reasoning effort. Tool calling uses the Responses API. Its documented total context window is 1,050,000 tokens, with at most 922,000 input tokens and 128,000 output tokens.
