Gemini Exp-1206 was Google's December 6, 2024 experimental Gemini API and Google AI Studio endpoint, later identified by Google's API documentation as based on Gemini 2.0 Pro and superseded by gemini-2.0-pro-exp-02-05. It targeted improved quality on complex coding, mathematics, reasoning, and instruction-following tasks and was added to Gemini Advanced on December 17.
