Gemini 2.0 Flash 001 is the versioned, generally available Gemini API and Vertex AI release of Google's proprietary, natively multimodal Gemini 2.0 Flash, launched February 5, 2025. It accepts text, image, audio, and video in a 1,048,576-token context and produces text; unlike the separately released Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental checkpoints, the stable 001 endpoint has no distinct thinking mode.
