Flan-T5 XXL is the 11-billion-parameter instruction-finetuned T5-XXL checkpoint from Google's 2022 FLAN scaling work. It extends T5 with broad instruction tuning, including chain-of-thought data, and was released as an open checkpoint for few-shot and instruction-following research.
