It has a published 128k-token context and is designed to use tools to explore codebases and edit multiple files; Mistral offered it through its public API, for private deployment, and for custom fine-tuning. Mistral deprecated the dated API snapshot on February 27, 2026, retired it on May 31, 2026, and names Mistral Medium 3.5 as its replacement.
