Command A is Cohere's 111B dense, decoder-only Transformer released on March 13, 2025 for enterprise agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, and multilingual use across 23 languages. Cohere reports a supported 256K context window, although the Hugging Face checkpoint is configured for 128K by default and must be adjusted to use the full limit. The model is available through Cohere's API and as CC-BY-NC-4.0 research weights, is designed to serve on two A100 or H100 GPUs, and delivers 150% higher throughput than Command R+ 08-2024 according to Cohere.
