Apriel-1.5-15B-Thinker is ServiceNow AI Research's 15B-parameter multimodal reasoning model, released in October 2025. Starting from Pixtral-12B, ServiceNow depth-upscaled the model before staged continual pretraining on text and image data and text-only supervised fine-tuning on more than 2M samples; no reinforcement learning or image-specific SFT was used. The model supports tool use, fits on a single GPU, and is released under MIT.
